I have a chopped cage on mine (not by choice, but because i bent it so bad that it had to be chopped to fix it)so it is needed to keep me from hitting my head on the roof mounted radio. The rzr's are kind of amazing in regards to where they will go. Im sure if you guys get one, you will have a blast in it.
