There were 7 modified go-karts in the race with my kart winning the pole. I quickly fell to second as my brother's kart beat me off the start. Then I over drove an early turn under the bridge and fell to 4th but a spin ahead put me into a solid 3rd and I spent laps 2 and 3 trying to catch my brother. A 50 second lap 3 (my best) got me within distance. On lap 4 I came inches away from getting by into second but he held me off and then used lap traffic to pull back away. After I finally got around the lap traffic my engine started to loose power and eventually died before completing lap 8 of 10.
